Conversations from the Still Point
Real stories.
Honest reflections.
Questions worth sitting with.

Life rarely changes in a straight line.

Sometimes we know exactly what is changing. Other times, we simply know that something feels different—even if we can't quite name it yet.

Conversations from the Still Point is a place to pause in those moments.

Here, we'll talk about the seasons we move through: carrying too much, caring for others, changing roles, starting over, losing confidence, finding ourselves again, navigating relationships, wondering what's next, and all the ordinary moments in between.

Some conversations will come from my own experiences. Others will grow from things I've witnessed, questions people ask, and reflections shared by this community.

You don't have to agree with everything you read here. You don't have to arrive with an answer.

Just bring yourself.

Read what speaks to you. Sit with a question. Share a reflection if you'd like. And perhaps somewhere in the conversation, you'll recognize something you've been trying to name.

Because sometimes clarity begins simply by realizing: I'm not the only one.

Sometimes being capable becomes the very reason more gets placed on your shoulders.

In this Conversation, Cindy reflects on the moment she realized that being able to carry more didn't mean she was meant to—and what happened when she finally decided something had to change.
